States like Alabama and Georgia  are passing laws to severely restrict access to abortion services. In Illinois, Rep  Kelly Cassidy led the charge to protect the Constitutional right for women to decide what's best for their own well being .Well done!

On May 20th. history  will be made in Chicago when our first African- American  woman  will take the oath of  office for first time in 182 years! We wish the new Mayor, Ms. Lightfoot, the best of luck for success in the coming four years.

Our President does not put the interests of the nation first. He is like a pinball bouncing all over the place, distracting us with false stories Mr. President, keep your hands off of our Social Security and use our military to house our veterans and set an example for  the next  generation. We need our commander in chief to get focused on leading everyone and not just thinking of himself! THE

Almost everybody here came from somewhere else. But as a  country we  seem to forget that little detail when we talk politics.  Everyone here, except Native Americans,  is from another country. Immigrants built this country! I wish the president would stop talking about the border wall and start talking about helping people with disabilities or housing the homeless. Get with it man!

Antisemitism is hostility against Jews.I believe this is horrendous in 2019! Let"s take the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, Innocent lives were lost simply  because they were  Jews. Eleven people  died because of  their religious beliefs. We  all must educate our next generation to  accept your neighbor as they are. People should not live in  fear because of how they worship.

The  first rule is all voters must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen. When registering you need to  be able to prove it with a state ID or birth certificate. Second, we need fair and honest people to be election judges to guard against racial and ethnic discrimination Last, we need all citizens to get informed  about the candidates and issues and get out and vote!

Groping is an unwelcome sexual advance that is taking advantage of someone weaker than you. This is sexual assault and is hideous and unacceptable! This  unbalanced   behavior is cowardly and  is not limited to the workplace, but is happening in our homes, group homes, school, Congress  and other public institutions. As a society, we need to stop this hideous behavior. I am encouraging the next generation to say some thing to someone in authority.  I would like  to setup a  national hotline for groping victims. Don't  be afraid. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
