Homelessness and addiction

Most homeless people are addicted to alcohol and/or drugs. To help them get clean and sober, fist we have to get  them off the street and put them in their own homes. Being in their own home will build  self -respect and  a sense of belonging to a bigger, better community. Perhaps they will start their own families ? I only see good things coming from this, don't  you ? I think  this will be a big help, especially for our seniors and veterans and our next generation who will  learn from their example.

Respect at CMA Awards

This  year''s Country Music Awards (CMA)   show  was wonderful, as  usual. The best part of  the whole evening was when  all the  women  entertainers gave tribute to the legend, the icon, Miss Loretta Lynn! It was beautiful. It just goes to show, it doesn't matter about age but  we should  have peace  and love for  the entertainer. The vips showed a lot of  heart in taking time to show love for different generations. The  future of country &western  music is in  peaceful and loving hands.  Have a Happy New Year!

So Happy C.P.S is Back!

The  worst  part  of  the strike was that the parents work schedules were messed up. On  the bright side, The next generation was involved in helping their own cause by supporting their teachers. We're all happy for the agreement that improved our special education and decreased class size. Finally, I am so happy that our student-athletes got to go downstate to compete!

Bullying Must Stop!

Bullying is a cowardly act done to the weak and should not be tolerated by anyone! Bullying  can be fatal and we must all do our part to stop it! If  you see  something, speak up! Whether it be in a business, workplace, government, the media, colleges, schools, the police and houses of worship, we should  all have zero tolerance for bullying of any kind!

Abortion rights should be protected!

States like Alabama and Georgia  are passing laws to severely restrict access to abortion services. In Illinois, Rep  Kelly Cassidy led the charge to protect the Constitutional right for women to decide what's best for their own well being .Well done!
