Current Events and Activities for People for Disabilities

People with disabilities deserve the right to know about current events in the world and activities that are available for them. They are as equal as the teachers who teach them and do services for them. They should be taught how to do the activities that will be helpful for their lives. Current events affect everyone in the world, including people with disabilities. Special needs citizens have as much right as anybody else to approach current events in today’s world and to have access to education. Teach current events to people with special needs and special wants. They have all the same rights as anyone else, including equal pay for equal work. They deserve to be respected like anyone who does not have a disability. People with disabilities have a right to go to current events, including sporting events, the aquarium, the planetarium, and movie theater. Respecting Women Part II

I want to talk about this because women should be treated as equal to any man. This is in terms of not just pay, but respect in all ways. This  week we continue  with how men can do their part in respecting women. Man to man: First, look inward, use your intelligence. Second, women are not objects, don't treat them like one. Finally, be a gentleman! When you meet someone new, don't use the past as an example, give everyone a fresh start. Every woman is special in their own way.

Abuse & Neglect of the Disabled

Abuse can be social, like a verbal put down,  physical, like hitting or kicking, emotional, like yelling or threats, or even sexual, like harassment or assault. Neglect can be as simple as ignoring someone or isolating them. More terrible is failing to provide a disabled person basic needs like food or medicine or clothing or housing. Abuse and neglect of the disabled is wrong. It is also against the law. It's pathetic and it turns my stomach! If you, or someone you know in Illinois is being abused, call 866-800-1409.
