Prejudice based on sex is called sexism and is cruelly hideous. On the job, it  shouldn't  make any difference who does the job, as long as they can produce the right amount or do what the requirements of the task at hand. Male or female, the pay should be the same and all people should be treated with respect, dignity  and consideration. Happy holidays! Peace on Earth, good will to all...

Being prejudiced  against people because of their race, religion, sex and gender, is horrendous! Whether on the job with employers, on the street with police, or with our neighbors, prejudice is uncalled for. . I'll be back with more next week. Happy Holidays!!! 

I am thankful for good health, my mother and family, happiness and my friends. I am especially thankful for the patient staff at the Anixter Center and my mentor/editor for their compassionate support of this blog and all of my services that I'm proud to do. Sometimes the Anixter Center cafeteria sounds like a bunch of gossipers wasting staff time to speak for them to their neighbor about their problems. This could turn off some people from eating in the cafeteria. This form of bickering is hideous, disgusting and ignorant-- it turns my stomach! If you bicker, people lose  interest in having a relationship with you because you  are boring and negative. Bickerers don't like themselves. Try to be patient and positive with bickerers. They need our compassion. Suggest other topics, change the subject, offer a break. These are my ideas. How do you deal with bickering?

What are the n ice ways to say I don’t want to hear it...    What do you not understand? I get turned off because when my peers put each other down like this is the end of the world, it makes me n ot want to be around you—I feel like that. How about you?

Texting and talking on the phone while driving is very dangerous and causes thousands and thousands of accidents, many with uncalled-for deaths each year. To help end this disaster, let all calls go to voice mail or use hands-free technology. Please pull to the side if you must text from the car. This is the law of the land!  If you break it-- you may see pretty blue lights when the police pull your vehicle over!

Community mental health centers will become overcrowded and unable to serve everyone they were treating and helping before the cuts. If these people don't get treatment, they could hurt themselves or others. Crime rates may increase. In the end, our legislators may figure out how bad things are and restore the budget cuts. I hope so. How about you?

Because people who need medicine to help fix a chemical imbalance, to make them feel better, might not get what they need due to budget  cuts. This may cause problems for people, their families and society as the chemically imbalanced experience delusions or hallucinations. This can lead to potentially dangerous situations. What do you think?

Staying in school and paying attention will make you a success and help you in the long run. Being a star will make you proud of yourself. Literacy gives you the tools to be successful and spread your wings. Reaching out for what you really want is what you are working for. Your teacher is a mentor and best friend and makes you feel good about yourself.
