Stop the Violence and Hate

Violence and hate are a huge problem. The authorities are not able to handle the crime in Chicago. All of these shootings are like a pandemic! When is this going to stop? Look at the ways this world is so messed up! Even the police are part of the problem. If you need the police, you should not get abused. People should be treated equally no matter what their race is.

We need to think positive and be kind to one another. Violence is not the answer. All these misunderstandings are a waste of time and are no reason to take a life. It is all so tragic. A violent criminal is not using their best judgment. The police must take into account the best ways to help those who need mental health treatment and always have backup. Some people need mental health support for violence prevention.

All families grieve when they have their children hurt because of violence and homicide. Here in Chicago, even a four-year-old child was murdered by accident! In every community all of this hate has to stop. The unbalanced behavior has people in the city acting in disrespectful ways, committing cowardly acts and heinous crimes. Look at the unnecessary and preposterous way that Asian Americans are being treated! There have also been crimes like the Riverwalk attack, where people are having knife fights in front of children who just want to be in a safe atmosphere. 

Parents need to listen to experts to find ways to make sure their children are not violent. It is important for people to get their children and grandchildren the best education possible so that they will have a good outlook on their lives. Teachers should make sure that students are getting an education and do not have to deal with violence and sexual misconduct. Sometimes teachers are part of the problem!

The worst and most preposterous act of crime is the drive-by shooting. What is so bizarre is that this may be an act of madness. The solution is knowing that professional help is there if anyone wants to commit a crime or brutal act. The frustrating part is that most of the hit and runs may be committed by people under the influence of alcohol and drugs. They could be chemically imbalanced. That is also why there are so many carjacking that do not make any sense. I think that individuals who are committing all these uncalled for murders could be prevented. These homicides are happening with chemically imbalanced, insane individuals who cause harm. What I am trying to say is for every male or female who gets locked up and makes the taxpayers pay more, we could be directing our money toward mental health services.

Another cause of violence is anti-Asian hate. People deserve respect since they have rights to be here just as much as any other race because they are equal. The only way anti-Asian hate can stop is if citizens of the United States of America just get a grip and get an education on other countries. They should not judge others, but ask them to teach them about how their countries are run. I asked someone who has been overseas in China and Japan about virus prevention in those counties, which was very interesting and very encouraging to know. Education about Asian American voices is the best way to learn, finding out through public speaking the how and what and why.

There is so much hate. That is why it sometimes takes a very intelligent presentation on Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, such as one featured on ABC, to learn. Our Chicago town hall also taught about the AAPI community. The month of May was a very good time to learn about Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage. It was very interesting and the best way to keep people honest about themselves. People who come from overseas should not be treated badly. They would like to have a better life and not experience discrimination. These men and women who have served our country proudly to the best of their ability should not be judged. People from Asia have some of the best restaurants. Unfortunately some of the workers are part of a chain of stores owned by salespeople from overseas. Employees should have the same pay as their coworkers as some employers are not fair.

Violence and hatred in Chicago should stop. There is so much disorganization and no leadership. A lot of poor judgment in how people viewed the Asian American community is part of the problem. Compromise and cooperation is important. Never think that you are the only one who should be in business. The best way to learn about Asian Americans is by letting them have a voice. The big word is "respect." This blog post is meant to help provide information to encourage us to understand one another more and to prevent violence.
